About Me

I am currently a Weekend Evening Anchor and weekday Multi-Media Journalist at KARE 11, a role I’ve held since 2022.

From the anchor desk to the field, I cover everything from breaking news to in-depth storytelling, bringing versatility and urgency to every broadcast.
A proud Midwesterner and daughter of small business owners, I paved my own path in journalism without an agent. Before returning to Minnesota, I worked as an anchor/MMJ in Madison for four years, eventually heading west to Salt Lake City, where I was a morning reporter/ fill-in traffic and morning anchor.

My skill set spans anchoring, live breaking news reporting, morning traffic, photography, investigative work, writing, and sports. I have quite literally done it all and am still eager to learn more. While I’m often in front of the camera, I’m equally comfortable behind it — shooting, editing, and producing content on tight deadlines with a dependable reputation.

My career has taken me to the front lines of major events including ICE shootings in Minneapolis, the Annunciation School Shooting, MN lawmaker assassination, Super Bowls, deadly avalanches, the search for Gabby Petito, and even an arrest of a Real Housewife of Salt Lake City. Safe to say, a normal sleep schedule and working hours haven't ever been apart of my career.

When I’m not juggling two phones and chasing story ideas, I am out in my community emceeing and hosting charity events. I am actively involved in Meals on Wheels, Twin Cities in Motion, and the ACBC Food Shelf.

In my free time, you can find me relaxing with my rescue pup, Ralphy and spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling, taking pilattes classes, golfing, gardening and cooking.
